Description
The recently improved Everett Easy Snubber is now made from premium marine grade natural rubber cord and comes in our original 18 inch length or the new XL 23" length.
Overall strength has been increased, as well as overall stretch. The size of the end loops are enlarged to allow for a second wrap of the rope to help lock on and prevent slipping.
Everett uses only the highest quality natural rubber cord. Why NATURAL rubber? Because it has significantly higher tensile strength (stretch), tear resistance and cut resistance, compared to our competition's molded synthetic rubber snubbers. It's also eco-friendly! These snubbers are lighter than the standard solid rubber units and have been holding up well when used on my 22′ keeled sailboat in a saltwater slip. I originally used solid rubber snubbers that were a bit of overkill for my 3000# boat. One of the original solid rubber units broke so I am giving these a try. After 3 months they seem to be doing well.

The sailboat is in an area with winds of up to 75 miles per hour in the winter. Recently , I installed one and it withstood a 15 -25 miles per hour wind well. The use instructions were excellent unlike the competition.

Installed these on the permanent mooring lines for out pontoon. We get a lot of wake turbulence from passing boats. After several months they show no sign of breaking down or chafing. They are on a covered dock so limited direct sunlight on them. The do provide a great cushion for the toon, reduced the jarring significantly.
